Back to updates

A work note now becomes a reviewable FoxDesk record

Describe completed work once. FoxDesk Agent suggests the client, prepares the ticket and time entry, and waits for your approval before saving anything.

You finish a banner update and need to record 20 minutes of work. The difficult part is not the time itself. It is remembering the right client, ticket, date and wording while the next task is already waiting.

FoxDesk Cloud now lets you describe the result in one sentence. FoxDesk Agent turns that sentence into a structured draft, offers the clients you use most often and asks only for information it cannot determine safely. You can edit the title, work note, duration, date and end time before anything is saved.

Nothing is written silently. FoxDesk shows the exact ticket and time entry first. You either approve the proposal, edit it or close it.

The workspace is easier to read before you open a ticket

The refreshed dashboard puts today’s time, this week’s time and the monthly total at the top. The client breakdown shows where the work went. Tickets and items that need a response sit beside each other, so the screen uses the available space without turning into a wall of cards.

Longer lists behave like working tables. They stay compact, show useful counts and keep the most recently updated work visible. On a narrower screen, the layout changes instead of squeezing desktop tables into unreadable columns.

A ticket keeps the conversation and the work together

The ticket view has been rebuilt around the actual sequence of work. Replies, attachments and time entries stay in one timeline. Manual time and the timer are available where you write the reply, not in a second competing toolbar. Time entries are visually distinct from messages and their edit controls appear only when you need them.

Client, owner, status, priority and access remain available in the ticket without forcing every control into the main conversation. Attachment thumbnails provide a quick preview before opening a file.

Notifications now lead to an action

Notifications and items requiring attention are separated. A completed task, new reply or recorded work can be opened directly from the dashboard. The list fills the same working area as the ticket queue and shows more items when space is available instead of paging over an empty panel.

Try it with one real work note

Open FoxDesk Agent and write what you just completed, for example:

Log 20 minutes spent preparing the homepage banner artwork.

Choose the client, check the proposed record and approve it only when the details are correct. That is the whole workflow.

FoxDesk Cloud remains designed for freelancers, agencies and service teams that need requests, time and client reporting in one place. The introductory price is €9.90 per workspace per month, with unlimited team members, clients and tickets.
